Learning

Every young person deserves the chance to grow and discover what they’re capable of. We support learning at each individual’s own pace, building life skills, curiosity, and the confidence to take on new challenges.

Our children’s residential services are dedicated to helping young people build confidence, independence, and a sense of aspiration for their future. To support this, we provide access to ASDAN programmes, offering structured and engaging learning experiences that recognise personal achievement and develop essential life skills.

Through ASDAN, young people are encouraged to set meaningful
goals, explore their interests, and work towards accredited awards that celebrate their progress and prepare them for further education, training, and adulthood.

Alongside this, we also offer AQA-accredited learning, including the AQA Unit Award Scheme (UAS). This enables young people to gain flexible, nationally recognised achievements within the residential setting. AQA units provide clear structure, personalised learning, and tangible evidence of progress, helping to strengthen both educational engagement and overall care outcomes.
